Boylan takes the helm of the nation’s foremost free speech organization

学者兼教师 丽贝卡·L. Walkowitz, who is currently the Dean of Humanities and distinguished professor in the Department of English at Rutgers University’s School of Arts and Sciences, has been named Barnard’s new 教务长 and 学院院长.
On June 1, Walkowitz will succeed Linda A. Bell, who has served as 教务长 and 学院院长 since 2012 and will remain a member of Barnard’s 教师. Walkowitz’s appointment resulted from a comprehensive 国家 search process that began last fall following Bell’s decision to step down from her administrative role.
